101 years jail for Goodin

A jury found the 45 years old American Jeffrey Brett Goodin from California guilty for phishing practices and he is facing 101 years jail. Goodin used phishing techniques to steal credit card numbers from AOL users.
He created almost identical emails and web sites for his fraude from AOL and made the emails and the communication appear from the invoicing department. This is the first conviction after the Can-Spam Act, that is active since January 1st, 2004. The sentence is expected on June 11th.
