This email protection strategy is based on the fact that spam and malware are distributed in mass over the internet. Rather than evaluating each individual message, RPD technology analyzes large volumes of Internet traffic in real-time. Outbreaks of spam and malware are detected when they emerge and recorded in the Commtouch Detection Center.
